High School Students from Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute Visit BDDC

High school students from Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute visited the BDDC as part of their Biotechnology course. A group of 9 students led by teacher, Joanne Ryan, was given an overview of the centres activities and learned how research at the BDDC helps to improve the environmental friendliness of plastics. The overview and tour of the centre was given by Eugene Enriquez, the Outreach and Project Coordinator of the BDDC. A tour of the Crop Science growth facilities was given by Austin Bruch, a masters student in the Plant Agriculture Department.
