Jesper van Berkel is the Technical Application Manager at Synvina. He gave a guest lecture for the course, ENGG*6130, Physical Propeties: Biomaterials. 

At Synvina, Jesper is responsible for the PEF resin portfolio and application development at customers. Prior to his current position, he has worked for five years at Avantium as project and group leader on PEF material studies, product development and recycling, and has co-authored over 20 publications and patent applications on PEF. Jesper holds a Master degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), majoring in Polymers & Composites with a minor in entrepreneurship.
