Prof. Mohanty gave a presentation at the 7th AMI Single Serve Capsules event on March 18 and 19, 2025 in Tampa, USA. The North American event brings together professionals in the single serve capsules industry to exchange market and technical information. They discussed brewing system innovation and capsule design technologies, among many other topics and receive solutions to issues within the industry.

Prof. Mohanty was an invited speaker and gave a presentation titled "Biodegradable K-Cup and coffee capsule innovation".
