Professor Mohanty and Misra were both invited to speak at the Polymer Processing Society Conference that took place on September 30 - October 3 2024, in Ferrol, Galicia, Spain. The conference brought together professionals in all aspects of Polymer Science and Technology from all around the world.

Professor Mohanty was invited as a keynote speaker and gave a presentation on: Challenges in Processing of Biodegradable Plastics and their Biodegradability for Single-use Plastic Alternatives.

Professor Misra was an invited speaker and gave a presentation on: Advanced Biocarbons from Sustainable Resources and their Lightweight Polymer Composite Materials.

Poster Presentations:

Professor Mohanty took part in a poster session with a poster focused on: A novel approach in synthesis of maleic anhydride grafted cellulose acetate by reactive extrusion.

Professor Mohanty presented a poster on: Effect PHBV Coating on the Mechanical, Morphological, and Barrier Properties of Biodegradable Plastic Sheets.
