Prof. Misra has received the James L. White Innovation Award from the Polymer Processing Society. This award honors Prof. Misra's outstanding research in the polymer processing field. The award aims to recognize creativity, innovation, and originality among researchers or inventors in the science and technology of processing polymers and polymeric products.

Prof. Misra will be officially recognized and inducted as the recipient of the James L. White Innovation award at PPS-41 in Paestum, Italy, on May 31-June 4, 2026.
