The American Society of Composites' (ASC) 36th Annual Technical Virtual Conference occurred on September 19-23, 2021. The ASC aims to provide a communication forum for the engineering and scientific community in composite materials, to expedite the growth of knowledge gained from inter-disciplinary engineering and scientific research in composite materials and to promote the exploitation of the unique properties of composite materials in emerging applications.

At this conference, Prof. Misra and Prof. Mohanty were apart of the "Bio-based Polymers and Composites" panel on Wednesday September 22, 2021 as panelist participants. As members of this panel, the Professors had a complimentary expo-booth where they populated items of interest to the composites community about the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre including recent publications, products available, videos and images.
