On October 5-8, 2025, members of the BDDC attended the Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference in Montreal.

Prof. Mohanty was the 2025 CIC - Macromolecular Science and Engineering Award winner and gave a lecture titled "Sustainable and Green Materials for a Circular Bioeconomy".

Malik Hassan presented a poster titled, "Machine Learning Optimization of 3D Printing Parameters for Sustainable Composites from Ocean-Recycled Polymers and Burlap Biocarbon".

Dr. Suman Ghosh presented a poster titled, "Sustainable Biocomposites of Recycled Plastics and Almond Shell Powder".
