February 8th marked the grand opening of the BDDC Phase 3 expansion.This addition holds state-of-the-art facilities for bio-carbon and sustainable packaging research. Minister Navdeep Bains was on campus to mark the completion and/or opening of six major U of G projects funded from the federal government’s Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund (PSI-SIF). The remaining funding was provided by the University and provincial government.
