Isabel is a visiting International Research Student at BDDC under the Mitacs Globalink research internship program. She is in her final year of Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, Mexico. Her research at BDDC involves engineering injection moulded biocomposites based on plasticized cellulose acetate for biodegradable food packaging applications.
