Dr. Muhammad Arshad received his PhD in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of
Karachi, Pakistan. He worked as a research associate for two years (2019-2021) and worked as
a post-doctoral fellow for five years (2014-2019) at the University of Alberta on different projects including preparation
of monomers, biopolymers, bio-nanocomposites, packaging, and nanocarriers from renewable
resources. His plans involve continued work to find ways to apply chemistry to help solve some of the
myriad of environmental challenges that exist in the world.
