Arturo U-Rodriguez received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto, Centre for Biocomposites and Biomaterials Processing (CBBP) in 2010. He worked at the CBBP as a Research Associate until 2011 in modification of carbohydrates/polysaccharides and applied biotechnology. He obtained his M.Sc. in 2002 from the Department of Wood, Pulp and Paper Ing. Karl Augustin Grellman, University of Guadalajara (UdeG) (Mexico) in Forest Products and a B.Sc. in 2000 from the University of Michoacan (UMSNH), Mexico in Engineering of Wood Science and Technology. He is currently involved in the processing of biomaterials and the development of novel composites and fiber/particle reinforced thermoplastics.
