Alisha is currently pursuing her PhD at the BDDC. She is a food scientist with expertise in fermentation, food biochemistry, and sustainable processing, and holds a Master’s degree in Food Safety and Quality Assurance. Alisha's research and industry experience span microbiology, spectroscopy, chromatography, and quality systems, with publications in microbial inactivation and food safety.
