The Consul General of India, Dinesh Bhatia in Toronto visited the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre as part of a campus tour. The Consul General of India was introduced to BDDC and the research conducted at the centre by the director, Professor Amar Mohanty. Present during the discussion about the research conducted at the BDDC were Dr. Hamdy Khalil, Steve De Brabandere, and Professor Manjusri Misra.
