On March 4th, 2019 a group of 28 students plus their teacher from Garth Webb S.S, in Oakville visited the BDDC. An overview of the Bioproducts Discovery & Development Centre was presented by BDDC Outreach Coordinator Eugene Enriquez.

Following the overview, a tour of the BDDC was given by Professor Manjusri Misra, and Lab Manager Michael Snowdon.
