2016-11-16

A group of 16 of grade 11 biology students and their teacher from the A.B. Lucas Secondary School attended a workshop at the BDDC facilities on November 16, 2016. Dr. Nima Zarrinbakhsh and Dr. Arturo Rodriguez from the BDDC gave an overview of the Centre's activities. The group learned about the R&D on environmentally friendly products made from renewable resources. This tour was a part of the Plant Science Reach Ahead Day at the University of Guelph in which around 120 students participated.
